Arrival Time

In order to complete your consultation form and take time to relax in the tranquil surroundings of our spa before your treatment. Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time and 30 minutes prior for a group.

We have reserved your booking time, especially for you and if you arrive late, or at the time your treatment is due to start, we may need to shorten your treatment time.

Cancellations Policy

Your spa treatment and service time with our therapist are reserved especially for you. We understand that occasionally you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Please contact us at least 4 hours before your scheduled visit. We will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability. If you do not contact us in advance, a cancellation fee may be applied.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
In the event of cancellation, the 50% non-refundable deposit will be retained by Uma Bhumi Spa
24-hour notice must be given to cancel or significantly amend any booking.
Cancellations made within 24-hour of the scheduled appointment time will result in forfeiture of the entire booking amount.
Failure to attend your appointment will result in 100% of the fee being charged or gift vouchers redeemed in full.

All packages and products purchased are non-refundable. Unopened products may be exchanged under certain circumstances.

Children

Due to liability reasons and to ensure a relaxing experience for all of our clients, we do not allow children under the age of 16 to accompany parents to spa or salon appointments. We understand that childcare is not always available and will be more than happy to reschedule an appointment to a time that meets your needs.

Unless children are enjoying a spa treatment, we offer a selection of treatments for children and teenagers between the ages of 8 and 16. However, please note that children must be accompanied by an adult guardian for the entirety of their time in the spa. If your child is between the ages of 14-17 and having treatment on their own, we will ask for parental consent prior to treatment commencement.

Valuables

UMA BHŪMI Spa is a tranquil retreat, and we want to create an atmosphere that allows all our clients to escape from the world outside. In consideration of others, please refrain from talking on your cell phone inside the spa or leave in your assigned locker. All cell phones must be in silent mode or turned off while at UMA BHŪMI Spa.

While guest lockers are provided, UMA BHŪMI Spa is not responsible for lost or misplaced items. Please ensure that you secure your personal belongings or leave your valuables at home.

Dress Code

Please dress comfortably!

In order for us to give you the best service. For massage or body treatments, we will provide you with a sarong and disposable underwear to change into. Facial and some other treatments a sarong will also provided. If you are more comfortable, you may roll up your pant legs or sleeves for the foot or arms massage.

You will be covered at all times except for the area of the body that is being massaged or treated. Therapists also discreetly leave the treatment room before you get up from the table.

Health and Safety

At UMA BHUMI Spa, we always schedule between treatments to give ample time for cleaning. This gives our therapists time to change all linen and clean the room with a hospital-grade sanitiser and sterilize equipment as a standard practice in the rooms and equipment between guests.

As your health, well-being and safety are of the utmost importance to us, you will be asked to complete a ‘Treatment Form’. Our staff will ensure that your booked service is appropriate by paying particular attention to questions regarding any potential medical conditions.

Clients suffering from flu, intoxication or transmittable infections will not be permitted to have treatments at UMA BHUMI Spa as it is not advisable for your own health, nor is it safe for the well-being of our staff. If you arrive unwell and we cannot safely proceed with your treatment, our cancellation policy applies.

We love having you as a client, but we do reserve the right to refuse service at any time, to anyone, for any reason.

Health and Safety

When scheduling your treatment, please let us know if you have any physical ailments, medical conditions, or allergies. Our therapist should also be notified if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure, a heart condition, or any other medical condition.

Our staff will personalize your treatment to meet any special needs or accommodations you may require. Some treatments will be limited on clients with open wounds, abrasions, or other skin conditions. If you have any questions about a spa treatment and your health, please consult a doctor.

We perform treatments on expectant mothers who are in their second or third trimester.

Pricing & Payments

We are constantly expanding our services to bring you the latest and greatest. Although we make every effort to keep our website and spa menu updated, please note that prices and services are subject to change at any time.

To hold a reservation, prepayment is required or you must provide a gift certificate number. UMA BHUMI Spa will send you a payment link 24 hours before your treatment start. The reservation will be automatically canceled when the payment link is not processed.
